  • Super Culture

    Freelance Producer

    Super Culture is an arts charity that “celebrate the rich diversity of communities and cultures within North Somerset and beyond”.

    Bella worked as an assistant working in production on large-scale outdoor arts festivals including the international festival Whirligig and Take Five: Weston Arts + Health Festival. Following this they produced Summer Circus Daze, a series of free outdoor circus workshops reaching over 500 participants. This was in collaboration with Tiny Circus and Circomedia and was launched with performance ‘Borshka’ by Clap Clap Circo. Currently they are working with Super Culture on Whirligig 2026.

  • Dead On Our Feet

    Here’s my 5–9 before my 9–5. And my 5–9 after my 9–5. And my 9–5 between my 5-9 and 5–9. In our current climate, what does it mean to rest? And how do we connect with each other? And how much will that cost? Brought together by  Made in Bristol , Dimba Damba are an ensemble of theatre makers specialised in collaborative, devised work, reflecting on their place in the world that they’ll inherit. Their work draws on ensemble movement, music, singing and humour.

  • Move Until Dusk

    Move Until Dusk is a collective of artists focused on retelling the hidden stories of our landscapes through movement. United by a deep interest in folklore and how it remains relevant to our contemporary world; we create interdisciplinary work that thrives off the exchange of ideas and practise, and prioritises creative experimentation and innovation. This is a space that nurtures the imperfection of creative work.

  • Winter Feast

    During Bristol Old Vic’s Made In Bristol traineeship, Bella was led by Sue Mayo and Edwina Bridgeman to create this intergenerational community theatre. They worked with local Bristolian groups from a care home, Year 5 class and a nursery. This culminated in an immersive performance-based event at Coopers Hall at the Bristol Old Vic aimed to build connections across the community; they ate food, did crafts and performed stories they had gathered during the workshops with the participants.

  • Devilish Theatre

    A clowning duo, reawakening stories of the land with theatrical play to reconnect to our roots. They devised an immersive, audience-participatory performance based on the folktale of the Stanton Drew stone circle, ‘The Devil’s Wedding’ which was performed at Prototype at Tobacco Factory Theatres. They also performed as clowns with Down The Hatch at Revel Puck Circus.

  • How To Safely Dispose of Friendship

    Showcased at Tobacco Factory Theatres as a part of SPARK Festival.

    Messy, menacing and absurd, this performance will be a cathartic celebration of friendships and their painful endings. Exploring the variety of ways relationships can deteriorate and mirroring the emotional journey of a friendship breakup, this piece will dive into the darker emotions that surface during these times.

  • SPARK Festival: Protest of the Everyday

    Co-Producer for this sold-out festival at Tobacco Factory Theatres. This commissions 10 Bristolian early-career artists to create a piece inspired and celebrating acts of protest. With performances from Chickpeas by Hagseed Theatre and Scraps by Mia Macleod and Daisy Kennedy.

    Whether it’s a pride march, a silent vigil, a toddler tantrum, a cabaret, a picket line or the act of rest in our busy world; protest takes on so many different forms and this festival is a chance to celebrate it together.‍ ‍

  • Festivals For Our Future

    Co-Producer as a part of the Blueprint Emerging Producers Programme at the Tobacco Factory Theatres. This project was collaboration with wethecurious to produce the evening portion of Festival For Our Future, a celebration of the power of collective action around climate change over five days.

    There were performances and talks from comedian, Charlotte McEvoy, poet, Iman Sultan West, and charity, Feeding Bristol, as well as a public screening of Wasted! The Story Of Food Waste.

  • Alice In Wonderland

    Actor playing the White Rabbit and Tweedle-Dee/Dum with the Common Players, a company creating engaging performances for and with people in communities around the Westcountry, about issues and subjects that face rural communities.

    This was an outdoor summer pantomime touring across Devon for 3 months with larger than life characters, puppetry, live music and dancing.

  • Actor Chorus Text International Residency & Orlando

    Performer & Trainee

    Bella trained as a part of Moonfool’s ‘Actor Chorus Text’ International residency in Italy, which explored feminising post-Grotowski actor training including voice-work and partnered-acrobatics. This culminated in an outdoor promenade performance of Woolf’s ‘Orlando’.

  • Maketank

    Creative Consultant Internship

    “Maketank is a cultural lab for social change; a creative home for local and artistic communities to generate culture that moves people. We believe that there is a synergetic relationship between thriving artists and thriving communities.”

    Whilst at Maketank, Bella researched into artist networks across the UK, began the process of declaring a Climate Emergency and co-produced Stomp It Up, an outdoor arts celebration.

  • Performance In Exeter Network

    Initial Steering Group and Founding Member

    PIE (Performance In Exeter) is a member-led network for the performing and live arts community in Greater Exeter and Devon+Cornwall at large, which includes diverse artists of various disciplines for whom performance is an essential aspect of their process and/or final creation. PIE's intention is to function as a community of practice.
